Why study Applied Physics?

The two-year Master’s in Applied Physics at TU/e explores cutting-edge physics for innovative real-world solutions.

You’ll specialise in one of the six advanced tracks; Quantum Science and Technology, Optics and Photonics, Plasma Physics and Technology, Physics of Fluids and Flows, Physics of Nanomaterials and Semiconductor Devices, or Biophysics and Soft Matter.

The programme offers a strong mix of theory and hands-on research, with close ties to industry and top research institutes. You'll dive into developments of high-tech solutions for real-world challenges such as ICT, energy, health, and climate.
