Mechanical Engineering combines system design with advanced skills in data science, AI and control technology. You will work on smart, high-tech solutions in fields like robotics, precision instruments and sustainable energy.

The programme offers a strong link to industry and cutting-edge research. You will collaborate with partners such as Philips, ASTRON and Resato, and gain hands-on experience in projects on hydrogen systems, advanced manufacturing or autonomous systems.

Graduates are well prepared for careers in high-tech R&D, system development or consultancy. Many continue with a PhD or Engineering Doctorate to specialise further in areas such as smart factories, advanced instrumentation or energy innovation.
