Science for Sustainability

With growing demand for sustainable technologies in the semiconductor and chip industries, environmental expertise has become essential for tomorrow's innovators. This Master's programme trains you to become a sustainability navigator who can guide transitions towards a sustainable society.

"Become a sustainability navigator: an applied scientist who guides transitions towards a sustainable society."

Ready to lead environmental change?

What if you could become the bridge between scientific research and real-world environmental solutions? As a sustainability navigator, you'll apply scientific knowledge from diverse fields to develop shared understanding of environmental challenges, explore solutions, and guide transition processes between various societal actors.

Combining passion with purpose

Are you passionate about natural and management sciences but want to solve actual environmental challenges? You'll work directly with companies, authorities, scientists, and civilians to tackle real-world problems whilst studying alongside students from diverse disciplines and cultural backgrounds.

A comprehensive learning approach

Why settle for theory when you can master four essential learning lines? This 2-year programme covers quantitative assessment and modelling focused on natural sciences, governance and organisational change, sustainability integration of different disciplinary knowledge, and transdisciplinary skills for defining, analysing, and addressing environmental challenges with scientists and societal actors.
